Happy first day of Spring!! Even though there are still small amounts of snow on the ground, I can’t help but think about all the things we will do this Spring! The smell of the air is changing, the buds in the gardens and on the trees will start to show themselves, and soon you will actually hear people, happy people, outside again; tinkering in their gardens and going for walks. Our little town will start to feel alive again! After a long winter of many colds + touches of the flu going through our home – we are all in need of some extended & consistent amounts of time outside. I have been thinking about all the free things my family + I can do this Spring, so I wanted to share them!

To help you get into the groove of enjoying one of the loveliest seasons; I have rounded up some ways you can enjoy it without spending any money (or very little)! So as we take the time to clean out & simplify our homes, make time for the simple things that can bring you closer to the people around you, bring you closer to nature & bring you closer to yourself – without forking out the cash.
(… ❤ Check out my post on Self Care if you are more in need of that, after this unforgiving winter.)

Great list of activities. I will have to try all of these once all the snow melts here.

Great list of fun things! I am definately ready for spring. I’m welcoming warmer weather with open arms!! http://www.thedarlingdahlia.com
This is such a great reminder that you don’t have to spend money to have a nice day out. Here in WV we have lots of opportunities for hiking and getting outdoors in general. My kids used to love going to the pond to look at the ducks. Now I think they would enjoy a nice picnic.
I love how the most normal and basic things are fun again because just being outside is a treat.
What fun ideas! Thanks for sharing!
Always love reading your blog posts girly!
Lots of love,

Who says it has to be expensive or that you have to spend to enjoy the season, right? I think this is an awesome list of things to do this Spring.
My husband started a routine he calls 10-minute sit out, he goes out on the front porch and just observe things. I sometimes join him and it’s relaxing.
You have some terrific suggestions on that list. I was just contemplating what a neighborhood yard sale might be like.
We just printed out a calendar for the summer and listed some activities. This is a great list to add to our empty days.
I’ll have to save this for next year since it’s already Summer.

This is a great list! I am going to have to do some of these with my son and get ready for a fun Summer!
Going on a hike and visiting new places is what I want over spring. Probably meeting up with and catching up with my friends as well.
